El lufenuron es un insecticida regulador del crecimiento de los insectos que interfiere con la s\u00edntesis de la quitina. No es sist\u00e9mico, pero posee una gran acci\u00f3n residual en las partes a\u00e9reas de la planta. Su modo de acci\u00f3n es espec\u00edfico para artr\u00f3podos, inhibiendo el crecimiento de larvas, especialmente de lepid\u00f3pteros y de cole\u00f3pteros. La emamectina es un insecticida no sist\u00e9mico que se absorbe por las hojas y se transloca por movimiento translaminar.
