Guardians of Safety
The Emergency Brigade
The Emergency Brigade plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all collaborators. Its significance lies in several key aspects:
- Quick Response to Critical Situations: The formation of an Emergency Brigade allows us to have a trained group ready to act immediately in critical and emergency situations.
- Life Protection: The primary goal of the Emergency Brigade is to safeguard the lives of employees. With training in first aid and evacuation, they can provide crucial assistance while waiting for emergency professionals.
- Damage Mitigation: The Brigade plays an essential role in mitigating material and environmental damages. Acting quickly and efficiently can limit the extent of an incident and reduce its consequences.
- Promoting a Safety Culture: Another important role is creating awareness of workplace safety. This fosters an organizational culture that values prevention and emergency preparedness.
- Efficient Coordination: The Emergency Brigade is trained to coordinate actions in crisis situations. Their knowledge of emergency protocols and efficient communication with all collaborators facilitate an organized and effective response.
Sustainability in Action:
Environmental Initiatives
Sustainability is a fundamental value for us, and we take measures to minimize our environmental impact at every stage of our production process.
Among other initiatives:
- Use of Renewable Energies: We are the first agribusiness company to produce biological products using clean energy. In 2022, we inaugurated the first phase of the Photovoltaic Park, providing renewable energy to the BIO NOVA biological products plant.
- Emissions Reduction: We optimize production processes to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
- Waste Management: Our priority is to eliminate or minimize waste generation, followed by reuse, recycling, and, finally, treatment and disposal. We manage waste following procedures that identify and record them from generation points to treatment or final disposal.
As a result of these actions, we have been certified and recognized with the Green Seal by the Government of the province of Santa Fe, through the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change.
